Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal, the 4 Para Special Forces officer who gained popularity on social media during his tenure as Aide-de-Camp to President Droupadi Murmu, has taken premature retirement from the Indian Army.Sambyal earlier led the Jat Regiment contingent at the 2021 Republic Day Parade, which won the Best Marching Contingent Trophy.
He later served with 4 Para Special Forces and became widely recognised for his appearances alongside President Murmu at official events.According to reports, Sambyal decided to retire due to personal and family reasons. He met President Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 21 and expressed gratitude for her guidance and support. Details about his next move are expected to be announced later.
