Saints & Masters, a global technology advisory and execution firm, has launched ONAM (Orchestrated Networks, Applications and Machines) Cloud, a cloud platform designed to provide Indian startups, enterprises and industries with enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure while keeping data and compliance requirements within their chosen jurisdictions.
The platform, which went live today, is deployed with Equinix, the world’s largest digital infrastructure company, as its data centre partner. This gives ONAM Cloud the ability to deploy sovereign cloud regions across Equinix's global footprint of more than 280 data centres, spanning over 70 metropolitan locations in 35-plus countries across six continents.
As part of its India expansion, Saints & Masters has established a new development centre at Infopark Phase 2 in Kochi, strengthening its investment in local technology talent and India-based global delivery. The company's new office, which was inaugurated on Monday, spans the entire 9th floor in Tower 2, Caspian TechPark, Infopark Phase 2.
ONAM Cloud also provides customers with direct, private and on-demand connectivity to public-cloud and SaaS services, enabling secure multi-cloud environments without routing sensitive traffic over the public internet- including direct connectivity to Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
Launched in 2021, the Kochi-headquartered Saints & Masters has set a target for ONAM Cloud to enable 10,000 small and medium enterprises over the next three years in India. The initiative aims to make enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure accessible to small and medium businesses as well as large enterprises.
The launch comes at a time when India’s cloud market is witnessing rapid growth. According to Gartner, end-user spending on public cloud services in India is projected to increase 28.1% to US$17.5 billion in 2026, from US$13.7 billion in 2025. Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) is expected to be the fastest-growing segment, with spending projected to rise 40% in 2026, driven in part by growing demand for GPUs and high-performance computing.
“ONAM Cloud is built on open standards and open-source infrastructure technologies, without dependency on proprietary hypervisor or cloud platform licensing at the infrastructure layer. The architecture is designed to support everything from traditional enterprise workloads to Kubernetes and cloud-native applications, giving customers a transparent and portable foundation with greater freedom over where and how their workloads operate" said Dijeesh Padinharethil, Senior Cloud Architect of ONAM Cloud.
“Cloud demand and AI adoption are rising fast, and Indian businesses need a foundation they can trust and afford to build on. ONAM Cloud delivers that as a sovereign, cost-competitive platform, and we are backing it with 200 engineering hires as part of our commitment to India's digital self-reliance and Viksit Bharat 2047," said Jaikrishnan G, CEO of Saints & Masters.
The company estimates that the platform can deliver up to 30-40% lower total cost of ownership compared with comparable deployments. The open-source architecture also allows the technology stack to be independently inspected and audited, supporting the compliance and transparency requirements of regulated sectors.
ONAM Cloud currently offers an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) portfolio covering compute, storage and networking for enterprise workloads. The platform provides 100% in-country data residency. Its roadmap includes GPU-accelerated computing for artificial intelligence and machine-learning workloads, followed by the expansion into Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
ONAM Cloud is available in three flexible deployment models to meet different business and data security needs:
OnamPublic – Sovereign Public Cloud: A ready-to-use cloud platform for computing and data storage, with jurisdictional controls and local compliance requirements built into the platform.
OnamPrivate – Dedicated Private Cloud: Fully managed, single-tenant infrastructure hosted in high-security local facilities with greater control and privacy.
OnamBYOPC – Bring Your Own On-Prem Infrastructure: A cloud platform that runs on the customer’s own infrastructure, allowing organisations to keep their data within their premises without making major changes to their existing infrastructure.
